The Healthy Lungs for Life Campaign, London

The Healthy Lungs for Life (HLfL) campaign run by the European Respiratory Society (ERS)/European Lung Foundation (ELF) will take place in London during September 2016, to coincide with the ERS International Congress. Details of all the free public events are on the flyer (attached).

The HLfL campaign encourages people to think about the air that they breathe on a daily basis and how it affects their lung health.  This year's theme is "Clean air at work, rest and play" and we are organising a number of activities in London that we would like to invite you and the members of your organisation to take part in.

1. We are holding a "Meet the expert" evening event on 5 September 18:00-20:00 at the Royal College of Physicians (11 St Andrews Pl, London NW1 4LE), where leading European lung experts will talk to the public and patients about the issues covered in the campaign and will be open to answer any questions the audience might have.

It is a free event, but we are asking people to register online so we can plan for numbers attending. Register at https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/registration-for-meet-the-expert-evening

2.  We are also holding our annual lung function testing event at Trafalgar Square on 2 and 3 September 10.00-18.00, where members of the public can get their lung function tested for free.
