The Asbestos Removal Contractors Association (ARCA) held a charity week in 2016 during which members could participate in a range of fundraising activities for the association’s two chosen charities – Mesothelioma UK and The Indee Rose Trust.
The charity week was a huge success and raised a fantastic £22,000 for Mesothelioma UK. Members took part in sponsored runs, bike rides, climbs and bake sales.
Liz Darlison, Director of Mesothelioma UK and consultant nurse said: “A huge thank you to everyone who undertook activities and made donations during ARCA’s charity week. The funds raised helps us to support specialist nurses to care for mesothelioma patients over the coming year.”
ARCA is planning another charity week for 2017 which will take place between 11 and 15 September.
